Welcome to Deep Creek-Damascus K-8 School. As the principal of our school, it is my personal mission, as an instructional leader, to foster a school environment where everyone feels welcome, seen and included. I believe that every student, staff member, and family should feel valued and respected within our school community.

In addition to fostering a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment, I am committed to delivering instruction which promotes student engagement throughout our school. Deep Creek-Damascus Staff are dedicated to ensuring that every student has equitable access to opportunities, resources, and support, regardless of their background or circumstances. This means ensuring that each and every student has access to high-quality education, which can ignite students' curiosity and passion for learning while acknowledging and  celebrating individual diversity.

Achieving equity, engagement, and inclusion requires a collective effort. I encourage all parents, guardians, and community members to actively engage with us in this educational journey. Your involvement, feedback, and collaboration are invaluable as we work together to ensure the success and well-being of our students. We encourage parents and guardians to be active partners in their child's education, and we welcome your involvement in our school community. Together, we can create an enriching and supportive learning environment for our students.
